Sweetly Spun was inspired by the love for a grandmother and encouraged by many. In 2024, Lauren had the honor in using her late Grandmother's refurbished and well-loved 70-year-old Cotton Candy machine at her children's school Fall Festival. The joy it brought not only to Lauren and her family, but to the families she was serving is where Sweetly Spun ignited. Lauren now gets to carry on one of the many great memories of her grandmother who was known at her local school functions and church bazaars as the "Cotton Candy Lady".
